I know you guys don't like INDY car ovals, but.....
...the race last night at Chicagoland was the very best race ever for INDY car.
I remember a race at Texas when they were still IRL that was a barn burner that had you on the edge of your seat, but last night topped all. I have no idea how those guys and 5 women! kept it out of the fence as much as they did. Sarah Fisher was outstanding for the capabilities of her small team. It really is hard to believe Marco Andretti didn't climb up one of at least 3 cars and shoot hisownself right out of the park. There is no "rubbin' is racin' in open wheel unless you are just plain lucky. And that don't last all night. It did last night. Couldn't find a video of last night, but it looked like 2003, even closer AFA the first 15 cars coming across the line in under 1 second. Except it was like that all night. |
