So, yesterday afternoon, I put a small pile of kibble outside in a suspicious area, potentially ant-worthy. When I came home tonite, there were hoards of ants taking the tasty snack back top their filthy lair. (and none in my house, the diversion has at least temporarily worked.) I removed the rest of the kibble (damn, those ants can move a lot of stuff in 24 hours) and I've replaced it with a hopefully deadly mix of wet cat food and terro.
I'm waiting to hear the death throes of the queen ant, (whom I'm calling Lindsey);
and once again, thanks to all to offered advice. My next step is 2 gallons of diesel, ha ha. 5 gallons just seems so, shall we say, redundant? ha ha.
