Mercedes C350 owners?

My 2006 E350 is off warranty next month. Service has been....involved. I don't think I want to own it off warranty.

Anyone own a C350? I had a C300 sport as a loaner car at the dealer, and it was great. Tight, quick, good build quality. I'm in the process of setting up a test drive for a C350. I like my E class, but its kind of huge and.....huge. I typically only have kids in the back seat.

Anyone have one? I was thinking of a 08 pre-owned, but they have some great deals on new at the moment.

Thanks!

I've had good luck with MBUSA products but I do my own work when its off warranty. If you can do your own work they aren't really more complicated and the hard parts like engine and transmission are Benz high quality.

If I were you, I would get a new C-class because it seems like you're interested in that warranty more than anything.

I've had the C300 as a loaner car a few times. I was thoroughly unimpressed. It seems like they've really tried to save money on the the production of that car. That's the cheapest looking interior I've ever seen in an MB. Cheap hard plastic everywhere. I think low level hyudais are trimmed out better than that.

I didn't much care for the way it drove, either. Numb and underpowered. Overall a very thin feeling car.

The exterior has grown on me, I think it's a nice looking car, esp. when it has the larger optional wheels, etc. on it.

The C350, I imagine, has some standard interior upgrades that probably make it nicer. And the 350 is going to have a lot more power than the 300.

I agree on not keeping your 06. Too bad it's not an 07, that was a better and more reliable car.

Love the C350 and had one most of last summer and really enjoyed it, I put several thousand miles on it for business and it was a great car. The power was good and handling excellent. I wish MBenz put the 5 speed from the C300 Sport into it, that would make the car amazing.

I recommend the C350 wholeheartedly. Awesome machine.
