Pou made some WRC compilations to music that are top notch. I'd post them all if I could find more than 2. I have them all saved to my HD. I emailed him once to find out if he'd make any more. Unfortunately, he stopped making them because Speed stopped hosting WRC.

Phony? The guy made a short film. Filmed the driving portion first, then dubbed in the sound afterward. Pretty much how most films/documentaries are made.

OK, then if you're gonna dub in the sound, don't use the sound track from LeMans while tooling down city streets a 100 MPH AT THE MOST. That long pull in high gear would have had those cars he passed go by in a flash, not like he was doing 80 or 90 in 60 MPH traffic. Or 60 in 40 MPH traffic.

Milt is right. This is a well known "fake". There is a complete disconnect between the sound-track and the film. The driving is actually pretty slow. The sound-track OTOH suggests high-speed.

It works well the first couple of times you see it. Then it becomes rather obvious.

I disagree. Rendezvous is a classic. I know it was a Benz, I know it was sped up, I know it was dubbed. It's still fun.
