yep dove season is here. and its 95degrees w/about 48% humidity. and its a sweat-fest.


but what the hell................grab the old tube limiter(2 in mag tube-1 in pipe = 3 total) got my obligatory migratory fed/state stamp and we iz off to the races.


most dove on the ground which means bust 'em up or a few flyers here and there.


i got (1) on the wing,so it was fun despite expending a box of shells.


its a 21" barrel so im limited on the "reach out and touch" them gig.

the other day found a 28" barrel VR for HK/BENELLI M-1 and about had heart failure-$475 bucks used.

the best part of the morning..............NO RATTLESNAKES!
season is all day this year til 9/15/10. so maybe this evening we will try again.

yes it is LEGAL! from a rem SP-10 to whatever mfg. as long as you have mag tube limiter.


for WITHOUT mag tube limiter to (2) rds mag tube,(1) in pipe)=3 TOTAL, YOU and YOUR SOUL WALLET will be going to the greybar motel. thats a VERY BIG NO NO here.


now to reply to 1 box of shells = (1) bird........................yes wayyy more expensive than most americans realize. hahahahaha


and yes thats why i posted cuz i can laugh at myself.


remember its a 21" barrel. im thinking bout taking my sons clunky mossberg 500 pump and taking his 18.5" barrel off and grabbing his 28" barrel and playing w/his chokes for giggles.



i could have shot quite a few on the ground but thats just NOT KOSHER. in flight its a gas.


it beats the hell out of listening to matt leiart of the cardinals SNIVILE!
