A few Old Racing Videos...
I finally got around to digitizing a couple of videos from when I used to race (prior to having kids).
First a "puff piece" that CNBC did of the Skip Barber class that I was in at LRP. I make a brief cameo (in my personalized helmet) as well a walk-on ![]() A couple of years later I was racing a Mazda 323 in ITB (one of only 2 guys in the country going that route) and we got to race in a supporting race during Busch Grand National North weekend at Lime Rock Park. It was raining buckets on race day, so the NASCAR race was postponed, and we moved up to being one of the two feature races for the day. Neither the car, nor the driver was terribly well developed, but I had a lot of fun. ![]() I have a video of another race the next year at NHIS, but I see that the star of the piece already posted it. Thanks Chris! He was gracious enough not to show the end of the race when my motor blew up! ![]() After that I fixed it up and sold the car to make room for a 944, which was eventually sold to make space for my 911, but that's another story... Cheers! ![]()
