I thought you killed moles with a large, soft-sided hammer?

No moles but I have been invaded by Pocket Gophers. The poison I got to control them with also claims to be effective on moles. Seems to work if you can get it into an active tunnel. Bought it at my local feed and seed.

I bought the poison as well to put at the entrance of a breathing hole.
Only used it once.
Only problem is domestic critters might like the same stuff.

Watch the last ~20 minutes of Caddyshack.

There's a mixture of stuff, something like coffee grounds, Tabasco, pepper and some other good stuff, mix it all up and pour it on the runs. It does drive them away. I can get the recipe if anyone wants to try.

But then how would one rid himself of the large python?

RWebb 09-10-2010 12:32 PM

either a good sized cayman or a small croc would do it

Transistor radio with hard rock music in the hole will drive them away.

I put it pretty deep in the tunnel. My dogs haven't paid it any attention.
