Bearings not used in Porsche

Dilemma-
I have a bunch of industrial bearings, new in their boxes.
Don't see any real interest on fleabay.

Anybody have any ideas?

These are fairly large double row shperical bearings (22316 or so) SKF's, as well as some MB four bolt flange cartridge bearings (cast iron housings).

Also some smaller stuff in decent quantities, and a nexen clutch.

Anyone know of any place to peddle these?

With interest, I'll pull a few photos - and certainly more description.
Getting sick of tripping over them.

I have a new SKF bearing that listed for $8000. Darned if I can sell it for anything but scrape. The come in pairs at that size - darn thing must weigh 80lbs!

You could try a local bearing distributor but chances are prolly not.

No idea of application? Automotive?
Mabye a caliper and search might give you an idea of worth to whomever. Search engines are pretty sucky these days.

These are not automotive.
The 4-bolt flange housed bearings may have some bearing for somebody, but the only use that I know of for the others is a special used at one time by one of our customers.
I'd be happy to get 1/5th or so for them.

In any case, I'll see about putting some pics up in the next week or so.

I buy at least $100k worth of anti-friction bearings a year and us "end users" can be pretty pickey about where our bearings come from.
my supplier has to provide a traveller that states where the bearing was made, how long ago, where it's been shipped to and how it was stored, etc.
I can't afford to take any chances on a bearing being bad from the start. A regular warranty doesn't do me any good because a $500 beraring failure can cost a $50k overhaul and up to $millions in lost production.

Some lower budget companies might be interested as they will do anything to save a dollar short-term but the big boys will run away and most bearing houses prolly won't want to play at anything more than 5 cents on the dollar.
