Karting in Socal anyone?
 

Compelled by the previous thread and my own little karting outing last week - I thought I would post something up here to see if anyone in the Los Angeles area was interested in going to K1Speed for a few hours of fun.

They have one in Torrance which is closest to me - since It's my idea and all...

Anyone? I think we're talking about $60 - $80 a head for at least three races.

Check out K1 Speed Indoor Go Kart Racing - Six Centers throughout Southern California and Washington and look at their group rates page for an idea of what we could do outside of just buying a couple of races. I think if there is 6 of us then the group rate will be a decent idea.

I'd love to, depending on the date- i'm rather busy with Porsche projects and a track day coming up in the next 2 weeks.

I think I'll call up K1speed in the next day or so to get the info we need to see how to move forward setting a date.

6 people is my goal and based on previous attendance to events like this I think it's doable.

If I'm in town count me in. I've never karted and would love to try it.

umh yes!...I'll get the one that drives ike a 908.

I'm in, I still have a credit.

btw K1 runs a 2 for 1 coupon on their website every month, coupled with the group rate ( I run with the Lotus club so if we need more drivers I can give a call out to those guys if nobody opposes) it's about $10 per race, and they re-configured the track taking out one of the hairpin corners so it's a bit quicker too!

keep us posted, it's just a quick drive down for me as well!

ive been wondering if k1 is any good ...... ill swing by and watch the madness u guys unleash on the track.

I have had a heck of a week and haven't had a chance to call them yet. I will get to it though...
