any of you ever eat a GOJI berry?

WTF? i've been hearing about this "super" food. supposed to be the best thing that nature gave us to eat. i went to buy some cherry juice at the health food store. grabbed a bag of chocolate covered goji berries. checked out. $13.00 for those damn things. i was commited as i opened the bag already. DAMN! quick research on the goji berry was equally disappointing. chinese people have been cooking with them for 2000 years. i have a jar in my freezer. i put a handful in soups. i didnt even know it was a goji berry!! some genius birkenstock wearer, and some marketing magic, and we are selling tiny bags for $10. like marijuana prices!

i defrosted a tiny bit, and tasted it. oh-gross. sour..better in soup, and covered in chocolate.

i also learned that you pronounce QUINOA as "keen-wah". and ACAI as "A-CEE-Ah" hhahaha..health nuts are funny.

Many people made a fortune off the acai craze too. Simple fact was the locals used it as a dietary supplement for the lack of (something I can't remember) and the US craze took much of it out of their system causing defficiencies.

Like America needs supplements!
