Hot chick in HS not so hot anymore

So I'm at a barbershop with my 3 y/o old. In comes a tubby lady with bad skin. I'm sitting there keeping my kid occupied while we wait his turn on the chair and I could feel this lady staring at me. I look up and she says to me, "Hey you look really familiar". Because I'm a friendly guy, I introduce myself then she tells me her name. When I realized the lady was one of the hotties in HS who never gave me the time of day, I chuckled. Man, she looks 10 years older than myself! I remember that she took up smoking then. Tobacco had its way with her. She still has her thick hair but now it's an unnatural maroon color. Poor Denise.

My favorite hottie from junior high school, Lisa, was still looking great at out 30-year high school reunion. She's always been ice, too. She married an arrogant jerk, though.

There was another girl at our reunion. In high school, she wore glasses, conservative clothing, had thick eyebrows, and never looked at anyone. And so, no one ever looked at her, either. But I remember back then, noticing that she was kind of cute behind that bookish look. Now, at 48, she is stunning. Like a movie star. If only...

I was recently at the bank and saw a fairly chunky girl from behind and thought she looked familiar. it wasn't untill she turned around that i realised that she used to be one of the hot popular girls in school.

I have a friend from HS who's still a good Facebook friend. She's the only female friend from back in HS with whom I'm still in contact. She was a hottie back in HS and is still a stunner, now. A couple years ago I saw a picture of her posing with Cindy Crawford. Granted Cindy Crawford was about 45 in the pic, but she was still a supermodel. My HS friend clearly was prettier than Cindy Crawford.

Just recently saw some photos of an ex of mine. She was the one who broke my heart, and I knew that when we were over, I would never have a girl that sexy again.
She looks like schit now. Gained weight, and looks. well, just plain worn out.
I feel a little guilty saying it, but kind of made me feel good.

I've seen it work both ways. Some of the hotties are double-baggers now. Then there was Elaine. No one gave her the time of day. She was kinda tallish and kinda skinny. Dark features. To attend the first reunion, she flew in from New York where she worked as a model. Jaw-dropper.

Ugh. Two years younger than me and thin as a rail (then). Now she looks 10+ yrs. older and is quite "stocky". I guess squeezing out four kids takes its toll on the body.

Oh the guilt! At our 30th reunion last summer I saw the girl I lusted after in school who wouldn't give me the time of day. She looks like a pumpkin with legs and is divorced from husband #3. OK, on second thought I don't feel guilty. I'm smiling.

Some people age well, others don't.

I wear the same size clothes I did in HS almost 30 years ago, no grey hair, look about 15 years younger than my ex wife. At my son's wedding, the people could not believe I was old enough to be the father of the groom, especially after seeing his mother.
