Cool blood pressure monitor...

My father just bought me a blood pressure monitor that attaches wirelessly to a PC and the results get transferred to the PC so you can save them and then print them up and take them to the Dr. Pretty easy to use and accurate! He paid $80 for it at a local grocery/everything under the sun store. Only downdise is that the PC readout program only works for 1 person, the person who registers the device. So, if you want others to use the blood pressure monitor, you'll have to manually store the results...

Lifesource UA851THW Automatic Downloadable Multi-Function Blood Pressure Monitor
Features the Pressure Rating Indicator™, which takes the guesswork out of blood pressure measurements by color coding each reading according to the JNC7 guidelines, and Irregular Heartbeat Detection, which will provide users with an accurate blood pressure reading even if an irregular heartbeat is detected. Along with a 90 reading memory capacity.
PRICE: $139.95
SALE: $109.95

Even though I'm a PC/Windows guy, I'd love to see what happens to the numbers when the PC gets a blue screen error!

Joe,
I've got 8 PC's all running Windows 7 and 2 Windows Home Servers (1 production, 1 development/test) and I haven't had a BSOD with any of them. No lockups, freezes or any other problems... The software also runs on a Mac platform...

I loved XP the best due to stability and speed and I've had great results with Vista once I got the drivers sorted out. It just seemed that it would be humorous if the software started to crash and you could watch your numbers go up in real time.

So far, the BP monitor is very accurate, easy to use and produces very useful reports...
