As someone mentioned earlier in the thread "the world needs ditch diggers" but who would be that desperate to take a job digging in a ditch that has already been over dug.

Thats too many boots in one trench, It's practically a public recreation area.

But just think........that's 14 future welfare recipients. The gift just keeps on giving!

Worse than that, they all have health problems that we'll have to pay for. Justice is probably too expensive for taxpayers in this case - putting the kids in foster care and her in prison will probably cost more than putting her & the kids on welfare and having child services ride her like a rented mule. I don't trust child services to stay on her though. I'll bet she'll end up abusing or neglecting those kids. What a mess.

Since the fertility doc who made this possible is the "real" father, he should be sued by the state for child support.

After having to work with KA welfare system for some years before I retired, I lost all respect for the system, and it lowered (even more) my respect for government in general. Her Octomom's) situation remindes me of a welfare lady I met during that time - I'll try to make it short.
She was in her early 50s, had 10 kids, a 4th grade education level, never been employed, always been on welfare, was getting cash aid, medical coverage, housing aid, food stamps, etc., etc. When the kids turned 18, she no could no longer get welfare benefits on their behalves. At that time she only had one kid under 18 and he was turning 18 very soon. So the system had reinforced her dependence on welfare for all those years without making her acquire the tools to take care of herself when the time came. So she was wondering what would happen to her when the aid would go to a minumum. At the time I couldn't resist making the observation to her I was sure one of her kids would take her in and help take care of her. Every government system is just an example of empire building.

This will rack your head. The other day, wifey and I had a quick errand to make at Walmart. So while waiting at the checkout, I'm snoopy and nosey of why the delay and observed two Spanish speaking woman (young mothers with tykes) trying to cash these sort of official looking checks to cover basic baby formula and some groceries. The clerk was speaking Spanish too and the checks looked foreign to me. They didn't seem to care as I was looking at their business, so for the heck of it asked the clerk what it was and about the checks. She said it was a welfare check from an organization for Mexicans. First I've heard of this but maybe they group is supporting themselves sort of off the US grid??? Anyone know of this so called organization?
