My Dad passed away on 9/15/10, he lost his battle with cancer.

My dad passed away on the 6th of July, 1998. I still miss him everyday.
I'll pray for your mother but if it helps you, you should know he will be at peace now and without pain. He looks like a great guy. RIP to both of our Dads.

Our thoughts and prayers with your family. It's a tough event but, in time, the pain will ease.
I lost my dad back in 2004 and I still miss talking to him. We found some video recently of him at a family function and I really enjoyed hearing his voice.

My Father is, wonderfully, still turning to meet the day.
My Mother passed away in 1990...she was my magnetic north, my compass on all things important. She died from cancer a month before I left for the first PGW. It gets easier, but only marginally so, 'Coupe...from the look on both their faces, humor seems to have been a constant companion. Never forget the laugh, the well earned creases sprung from smiles. Celebrate his life.

My grandfather passed about 4 years ago and I miss him every day. He was like my father (my father wasn't around and only recently came back into our lives) and he was the best grandfather/father anyone could ask for. I miss him terribly...

God speed. Mine is still kicking at 85, but has had a rocky year. Mom went about 10 years back. In her case leukemia got her, but it was mostly a relief as she had suffered from Parkinsons for about 8 years prior. Life is short - live today.

Very sorry for your loss. I, like others, know your pain.
I lost my Mom to cancer 11 years ago and miss her everyday. Dad is 86 and still going strong. Condolences to you and your family.
