Scott,

I cannot tell you how embarrassing it was to see you in the parking lot, wanting to "half dome." Sorry dude, I should have told you Half Dome was not a euphemism for . . . whatever you thought it was. I assumed you knew. Good luck, though.

Too many friggen' homos, mostly foreigners. Since Yosemite is a National Park, shouldn't it be limited to American nationals? Oh well, whatcha gonna do . . .

Nice pics... and that wasn't me in the parking lot it was my evil twin!

How long of a hike is that? How bad is the traffic getting into Yosemite? I haven't been there in decades. Ironical I get to see it from the air often on my frequent flights to Portland.

I thought he smelled different.

17 mile trip, up the Mist Trail and down the John Muir. Traffic on a weekday before sunrise is zilch. But there were muy mucho people in the Park. All the campgrounds were full and the Happy Isles parking lot was almost full. Usually when I arrive there are three or four other cars. This year there were hundreds.

Sorry, read this too late. Last night was a full moon, how about a night hike? What could go wrong?

Burnin', that place looks GREAT. Next time I come to the US I'm going there - thanks for the good idea. It looks so much fun I must remmember to bring my chainsaw and a gun :)

Seriously, a night hike to the top would be way cool - pretty freaky, though, what with all the steep drop-offs and what not. (If we do it, don't tell Scott. Been there, done that.)

That looks really amazing. Take some pictures so us east coast guys can dream.
