I've heard of moon cakes but never had one. Recipe anyone?

I just got home from spending two weeks in China, and brought back two boxes of wishing lights...

I now have 200 to use for any festivities

They look much better at night

almost bought some moon cakes yesterday, but since I don't like the taste & can't foist them on anybody this year, settled for some coconut balls

Seen more moon cakes in the last two weeks than I care too. Same as every year. They are the Chinese equivalent of Christmas Fruit Cake. Heavy. Dense. Fortunately they now makes ones out of ice cream too.
