$400k 924

Diego Maradona’s Porsche for sale – for £320,000 | swns.com

GH85Carrera 09-23-2010 07:28 AM

I would sell my 911 for just 1/2 that!

Neilk 09-23-2010 07:59 AM

Take out the seats stuffed with coke and it will be offered for a more reasonable $10k.

porsche4life 09-23-2010 08:00 AM

I'd let them have both of my cars for that... And I always tell people that I wouldn't sell the red one...

UconnTim97 09-23-2010 08:09 AM

I'd prefer Jon Voight's LeBaron.

Lets be real, you would let them have both cars for $40k.

Shaun @ Tru6 09-23-2010 08:30 AM

more like a $399K name and a $1K car.

ODDJOB UNO 09-23-2010 09:17 AM

i own some of "GODS GREEN EARTH" wanna buy it? 1.39 acres and "GOD" MADE IT with his very own hands.

sheeesh what a JOKE! DIEGO THIS!

Shaun @ Tru6 09-23-2010 09:21 AM

now there's a fair trade: 1.39 acres in AZ for any given 1980 924. :D

Brando 09-23-2010 09:29 AM

But its still just a 924.

GH85Carrera 09-23-2010 09:31 AM

I guess a 924 is not an exotic like a 928!;)

scottmandue 09-23-2010 09:34 AM

I was expecting one of these:

Porsche 924 GTS

herr_oberst 09-23-2010 10:03 AM

The new AutoWeek has Red Skelton's (!) mid-'80's Wagoneer offered at 55 grand.

I wonder what Steve McQueens 930 would fetch at auction.

Well, OJ's `lil parcel is in N. Snottsdale, so it's still worth a fair amount. You could sell all of your toys for high market value and still not even come close. I guess you can dream. ;)

McLovin 09-23-2010 10:29 AM

That's hot.

Why is it that you need things explained to you so often on this BBS, especially when it's regarding/involving your own posts?

Well, let me break it down "Barney-style" for you once again:

You said:
"now there's a fair trade: 1.39 acres in AZ for any given 1980 924." :D

Implying that land in AZ is not worth much (even if tongue-in-cheek).

So I said:
"Well, OJ's `lil parcel is in N. Snottsdale, so it's still worth a fair amount. You could sell all of your toys for high market value and still not even come close. I guess you can dream." ;)

Implying (tongue-in-cheek) that you could sell all of your toys (e.g. 911's, bikes, etc.) and still not have enough to purchase OJ's parcel of land.

Not that hard to follow really. So are you still :confused::confused:?

Shaun @ Tru6 09-23-2010 12:24 PM

Why so angry?:confused::confused::confused:
