I think I had seven Fiats out back a few years ago. I went nuts one spring and stripped and scrapped a bunch. Sold the rest to a restorer for 10,000.00. A whole loft of parts as well.
Wish I had kept one of the runners. Shoot, now I'm gettin all teary eyed. |
Why do poor people keep everything they ever owned in their yard?
Because rich people have warehouses, huge basements and garage mahals.

I had a fridge and a desk on my porch for a few months because the door to my damned apartment is too narrow for them to fit inside.
I hate renting. |

I wanted to use it as a beer fridge, but I wasn't sure what the legal implications would be if the neighbor kids got into it. It's an extremely affluent neighborhood full of nosy pricks.

You're complaining because you "hate renting" but by your own admission are living in an "affluent neighborhood"?
Maybe that's why you're renting? And count your blessings - there are a lot of "owners" that would love to be renters right about now. Grass is greener my friend... |

Thanks. Mostly stock.
I'll send you a PM regarding it. |

My dad keeps EVERYTHING (not in the front yard) and his garage is PACKED...and sure the family makes jokes about it. But boy, when I'm working on a project and he has a solution from something he pulled off a car 25 years ago that has been sitting in a box for almost 3 decades...but is perfect for my application - I sure can appreciate it! |
I had about 40 cars in my back yard. Scrapped most of them a couple years ago when steel here was $400 per ton.
