Do you use jersey numbers to remember numbers?

If I need to remember a number, I associate it with a jersey number. for 24, it's Willie Mays. For 44, Willie McCovey. For 16, Joe Montana.

nice.

I'm usually just really good with numbers, short 2 digit numbers aren't an issue. but with longer numbers, I see relationships between the various numbers, or occasionally, relate the numbers back to automotive numbers.

I'm not really a sports guy, so jersey numbers wouldn't do me any good.

I thought that New Jersey had some different/simple numbering system until I opened this thread.

Who are those people? .. seriously though, while i admit i have heard of them i couldnt tell you what jersey they wore or anybody else in modern times either. Ive just always been good with numbers.. I still remember my childhood phone numbers and such, and most of my friends numbers from the high schoool era. etc. and that is after moving several times and states away..

Phone numbers click pretty well with me...

If I was going to use jersey numbers I'd have to learn the jersey numbers and watch sports first...

I see numbers in rows and then they change direction every 10...

So... 0 to 9 go from left to right and 10 to 19 go straight up... then 20 to 29 go across from right to the left... and then it repeats...
Ok >>> So longer numbers do the same but stay in pairs...

I remember phone numbers in groups of three. Like 826 456 121
