Selling a car - buffer setup?

1994 Ford. Single stage infamous fading red paint from factory which is known to oxidize within 3 months.

I think I need to buff it as hand waxing is absolute torture on this car due to the oxidized paint and the inherent friction of the wax process on this paint. A genuine arm breaker, and then the paint looks spotty when finished.

Cheapo buffer setup ? The buff pad will be RED, just amazing how much paint comes off no matter what hand process I've used in the past.

Equipment/technique/process?

I imagine that there has to be a cheap buffer pad that you could attach to a cordless drill for this purpose. Maybe the local auto parts store will have one.

Will spending all that time on it help the value that much?

This will lack the all important "random orbital" advantage of a random orbital buffer. Without it you'll leave swirl marks in the paint. Check your local Craigslist for a used automotive buffer.
