Celebration at ATT Park
Wow, when it came down to this game I didn't think the Giants were going to do it.
They played a great team. gary |

I had my doubts going in for sure. When Sanchez hit the triple I kinda got hope. What a great ending to the season

Once the Giants got the two runs in the third, I knew it was all over.
They shouldn't have much trouble with Atlanta, but Philly will be very tough to beat. Did you know that San Francisco has gone the longest in all baseball without ever winning a World Series title? I hope it changes this year.

Typical Padres game - great pitching and defense but no offensive support. They went a long way on their $38M payroll especially when their starter Chris Young was out most of the season and accounted for $6M. Incredible after the Padres 10 game collapse at the end of the season and they were still in it the last game. Winning the first two games this weekend I thought the Padres had the momentum but it was not to be.
Congratulations to the Giants but IMO they will be first round casualties (Padres too had they made it) but I'm rooting for Tim Lincecum - really like that kid. |

Good morning laugh.
