What's the best deal on tickets for Universal Studios + Island of Adventure - Orlando

Heading there soon, but suffering from sticker shock on the entrance fleece... I mean fees.

Hmmm... lack of input seems to point toward an expensive trip.

It can be done "one the cheap" (for orlando theme parks if there is such a thing)......
I'll have my wifey look into it, she knows all this stuff....
I know they have a $20 deal for unlimited counter service food, which will save you a heap if you plan on spending all say in the park.....
Also I believe you get big discounts if you stay at one of their hotels and such.....
I'll have more info tomorrow evening.....

When are you planning on going? I took the family years ago and agree with the cost of the parks. We ended up renting a house 5 min from the park for about $800 for the week. Really nice place with pool and plenty of room. We only did the Disney bit and went with the multi-day pass which seemed to be the best deal at the time. We ended up doing 1 park/day. If you have an Amex you may be able to get some specials through them. Also try Costco, or Sams as they also have some deals.

We'll be there next week. I forgot about Costco. I know our Costco in Phoenix has tickets for San Diego attractions. Wonder if the one's in Orlando sell Universal tickets.
