Boeing's newest toy
 

Boeing is flight testing the new 747-800 cargo plane here in fresno, due to the light air traffic here.
This thing is HUGE, according to the reports it's 36 feet longer & 13 feet wider than the previous 747.
It looks like it's hovering in the sky it's so large.

A C5 Galaxy once flew low and slow over my house on approach to PDX (or the air base). Blocked out the sun for what seemed like a minute. What a behemoth!

The pilot seat of a 747-8 has a great view when you're on the ground. Kind of funny watching smaller planes (737) from above while they're towed by. :) Very quiet plane, although the 787 is the one that will really sneak up on you.
