Removing Chrome
 
Anybody have a clue if there is a way to chemically remove chrome from turbo twist wheels?

A chroming shop should be able to do it for you. It goes on chemically, and comes off the same way.

If they are the factory chrome, it isn't really chrome but a powder coat, and you can have them blasted and powder coated, either to a stock silver or a custom color (I had mine down in Black..
