need windows XP help
 

i have the wifes computer at work setup with mozzila for her Email. now she tries to open it and it says it is already running and to shut it down. its not running. i have shut the computer down cold, even did a mozzila re install and same thing.
any ideas?

Sounds like there is a lock file there ...

Unfortunately, I can tell you where it is on a Linux box but not windows... well, a quick google tells me it is called parent.lock and will be in your c:\documents and settings\username\application data directory either under Thunderbird or under Mozilla/thunderbird

thanks, i did not think about the search, who would think it was that common. this should fix it.
