We could all learn so much from the Chilean attitude to this whole event. They knew what was the right thing to do and pursued it with all the vigour and urgency they could muster.
They were not afraid to ask for help - the people in charge knew it was not about them - it was about doing the best thing for the trapped miners and their families.
Even their President - he has been involved from early on and made sure that they got whatever was needed to rescue the people. For the leader of a country of their standing, it says volumes that he feels the most important thing for him right now is to be there and greet each miner as they emerge. Each miner knows his life was valued.
Good luck to them all - as one of them said, he'd been to heaven and hell - he chose heaven.
