Anyone catch yesterday's PGA tour telecast - Rocco Mediate's heroics?
 

OK Golfers - if you didn't see the highlights on the Golf Channel, you missed a hoot!

17th hole - Par 4, 295 yards. DRIVEABLE

Rocco - Iron off the tee - laying up.
Bo Van Pelt - Driver - lands one on the green -15-20 feet for eagle
Alex Prugh - Driver - ALMOST freakin' holes it - stops 2 feet past the pin.

Rocco from 116 yards in the fairway - holes it for EAGLE. 2nd time in two days - he holed one from 111 yards on the same hole Saturday. He had 4 holeouts from the fairway during the tournament.

BTW - Van Pelt 3-putted for par.

Good friend is a member there and was working the tournament. He was inside the ropes standing behind Rocco when he hit the shot,could not believe it!Really great venue for the tournament,gotta love driveable par 4's and Rocco is really easy to cheer for, a job well done.

Great to see that. Rocco is fun to watch. I saw him at the tournament at Turning Stone over the Summer, he talks to people and just takes things real easy. interesting that for a bag, his caddy has a lightweight carry back, no big bag w/ endorsements all over it. He really enjoys the crowd and has fun playing the game.
