Visiting Greensboro, NC...
I will be in Greensboro NC from Monday (arriving early evening) to Friday morning. Going to look at some areas to live in when we move. Anything going on or anyone feel like getting together?

Welcome to Greensboro Neil! I'm going bass fishing on Tue, and am selling a vehicle on Wed. evening, so Thur is the only day I have that would meet your schedule. Maybe others will chime in soon...
ps: If you have any questions regarding the area, feel free to pick my feeble brain

I am in town. Arrived late last night but am staying in Asheboro as there is some huge furniture convention going on in High Point. I do, however have to drop my wife at her office each day in Greensboro and pick her up in the afternoon. Going to be spending the days seeing some real estate rental agencies and looking at neighborhoods between Greensboro and Troy. Free in the evenings. Thursday evening should be good to get together Keith.

Wow...Greensboro and Troy??? You're talking two different planets here
. I decided not to take the bass boat out today (due to the traffic, etc. as you referenced High Point, where I keep it) because of that HUGE semi-annual furniture market going on. Otherwise, I would have been on a lake near Troy...smack in the middle of nowhere, and probably had the whole lake all to myself. Went pond fishin' instead. Troy is pretty rural, big white tail deer country (I used to hunt there at a teen, but don't hunt anymore). My uncle (expert hunter/woodsman) passed on a couple of dozen and a few "decent" bucks before he took a "prize" last season near Troy. Let me know if I can be of any assistance, and I'll touch base later...good luck!

Looked at a slew of rental management companies today to get a feel for the houses and clientèle they cater for. Really difficult to do at this point as we have still not sold our house in Ohio yet but at least I am getting a feel for the area and putting some resources available for when the time comes. Keith, we will probably end up closer to Greensboro and I will just commute to Troy.
We should try and get together on Thursday.
