Need a body shop. SoCal - Santa Clarita

A friend of mine's daughter was in a fender bender last week in their trusty ole Camry. The estimate from the "approved" body shop is $3700 and the insurance company wants to total it.

Supposedly, there is no structural damage, just the front bumper, grill, fascia, lights, AC condenser and hood + paint. The airbags didn't pop.

Assuming that there is no structural damage, my friend would like to get an estimate from a more cost effective shop near-by. He's trying to see if it's worth it to buy it back from the insurance company and have it fixed.

Anyone have a recommendation for a body shop in Santa Clarita that might be able to handle this? Please post it here or PM me.

TIA

At the end of Lyons Avenue at San Fernando Road is an excellent body shop where I had my DB4 and other cars painted. The guys name is Tony Inderbitzen, Inspector' Autobody 661 259-7925 25320 West Lyon's avenue. Tell her to tell Tony that Hugh with the DB4 recommended him. He'll remember.

Yes, very good and very reasonable. He did the right rear tail light corner on my son's 72 cutlass with metal, not bondo, for around $1,200 excellent work, the approved shop wanted closer to $3K. I had a really good enamel paint on the DB4 with me taking all the chrome, windows out he did the paint and prep work. I didn't spend foolish money on the paint cause I couldn't afford it. He's worth talking to.
