Rare Breed (Wild Turkey - 107 proof) is my regular go-to. On those special occasions its' Bookers (Jim Beam's- premium 127 proof) + lots'-o-ice and a splash of ginger-ale.......................aaahhhh

Been drinking a lot of red wine lately, need to thin out the cellar a bit.

White russians are a fave too, dude.

I was walking thru Walgreens yesterday and they had Sam Adam's Oktoberfest on clearance for $4.64 a six pack. Can't beat a deal like that..

SCOOOOOOOOOOOOORE!

I must say that I actually can't stand Sam Adam's, I know unAmerican, right? Well they got this one right. It may just be that I am a sucker for Oktoberfest beers though. I really enjoy St. Arnolds christmas ale. Even though it rocks my socks off.

Well the evening is here and it's time to do some partying.

Be safe guys, peace.

Mmm Chimay blue.

The red tastes like soy sauce.

The blue really is quite nice, but Duvel goes better with a full flavored cigar.

We were in Lexington KY last weekend for the horse races at Keenland. Discovered a new beer on our trip. Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale. Local craft beer aged 6 weeks in spent bourbon barrels. We brought home a case.

The best cheap rum I have tasted. Thankfully always available locally. Their 15 year old is sublime but the 5 year is my daily & it is $1 more than the Captain & so so much better.

On ice with a splash of Coke. The Coke is the slightly sweeter Canadian version of the real thing. No Diet crap allowed.

Some nice Bourbons represented here, glad to hear I am among other Bourbon fans.

I started tonight with this:

I started with a Merry Monks Belgian, then had a bottle of my first batch of homebrew, a Nut Brown Ale. Flat as a pool table, and mediocre flavor. Blech. :(
