How do you get world series tickets?
 

I've got a lot of customers asking me this tonight( I don't know)! Can anyone edumacate me on this, LOL Yea Texas won!!!!:)

I hope to have the same task, come Saturday night. I don't think my heart could handle a game 7.

Congrats on your team. I hope they travel to SF next. If so, at least one city will experience its first ever World Series championship.

Here's how I would get tix. First, ask my father. He knows everyone. Then, ask everyone else I know. Last resort, Stub Hub, and pay big $$$.

I'd love to watch in SF, but I'll be content to watch on TV.

I'm curious too. Is it like concert tickets where if you happen to get lucky and get online at just the right time you can get seats? Or is it based on a lottery system?

When I got them it was a total fluke thing. My buddy from Calgary had a cousin who had tickets to the game that got cancelled due to earthquake. As you could imagine, this freaked her out more than somewhat. I got two tickets for face value and went with my brother. I told him nobody had ever hit a leadoff HR in a World Series. Rickey hit one in the seats about 25 feet from where we were sitting. Tripped him out a bit, and he asked, "How did you do that?" As though I had predicted it would happen.

Of course that does not help you at all. It may be all pre-sold and you have to go through a broker.

For Rangers people were camping out a few days ago.

How bout those Rangers ! They were a class act last night in winning. I was watching in a sports bar (hooters was too packed to get a table so we went to a small local one) and the fans watching were ecstatic. It was lots of fun and I'm looking forward to the World Series being here !

BTW it is completely maddening to turn on Sports Radio for Rangers talk and they're talking about the friggin Cowboys !

Either you a have to be a season tix holder for one of the teams or you need to go into the secondary market at this point-stubhub, craigslist, scalpers etc. I've had good luck with scalpers outside stadium after 2nd inning starts...
