Can someone recommend an air pump?

My bro wants an air pump for Xmas, but there are so many options! Can someone recommend a good one in the $50 range? I understand that might leave me with some cheaper models, but he doesn't need a full air compressor. Just something to pump up low tires once in a while, etc.

Thanks!

Doing some research, is there one that can plug into a wall instead of plugging into car outlets? They all seem to have reviews that blow fuses.

I was given a C-H 120V inflator similar to the one in the link about 4 or 5 yrs ago. Before that I had a C-H rechargeable that the batteries died on. Both work(ed) well for me. The 120V is a little quicker.

I picked up a Black & Decker ASI300 Air Station Inflator
on a close out at Home Depot, plugs into both, airs up pretty fast too.. Must say I'm happy with it and it was less than $50.. Best small one that I have owned..

Thanks guys! I'll check out the one at Home Depot. If that doesn't work, the Amazon.com recommendation looks highly rated as well.

Cheers!

I have a Ryobi battery powered unit that works great at the track. I don't have to worry about the chord being long enough to reach the tires.

I also have a plug-in type which I bought at K-mart, of al places. I had it for years - it has always worked perfectly, and I never blew a fuse while using it.
