Greatest blender ever

Hey guys, I just wanted to share this great blender I found in the lunchroom at work. It does an amazing job of blending. I can make a smoothie in 5.0 seconds. My ancient bosch blender takes quite a bit longer.
I think it will last a long time... it's made of a pretty sturdy polymer material.

I have one of those. Be very careful with the little plastic tabs on the jar - those will break off and lodge in the "activating ring" thing and jam the switch.

Also, it doesn't work well on ice - try to make too many margaritas with it and it will burn out.

This is a blender...

I'll stick with my Oster Galexie 8. It's only 44 years old - built tough enough to last for another 44 too. :p

there was a guy that was building blenders made from a garbage disposal attached to the bottom of a 5 gallon Rubbermaid cooler, i'll try to find the link

After burning up an Oster while having a margarita party, I ended up with the super heavy duty Breville. Heavy is the word and I expect this thing to outlast me.

When you said magic bullet, I was thinking something different...

It is silver, too. And my ex-wife really liked it as well....

That's a different thread

My kids gave us a Bullet & it is great for a 2 person night of Margaritas (with several refills - of course - but by the last refill I might be pounding ice with a mallet on the floor drinking straight tequila from the bottle with a straw). For larger events, my antique Oster will blend concrete.

On the ski busses back in NY, one guy had a battery powered blender. worked pretty well.

There are chainsaw powered ones for "camping" use.
