It Is A Wonderful Life

It is a wonderful life if you are a man of wealth and taste. One generally gets up around 11 in the Am goes out to the Kitchen and turns on the Salvatore Espresso machine to make one of several delicious Lattes to be consumed during the day. Then one saunters over to the Computer room to see the latest action on the Big Boards and then checks the auctions for Spoons and Persian Rugs. Several very nice Persian rugs have come this way I must say. Then after I check the auctions I usually will check with the Pelican Board to see who I have to straighen out for the day. I will then write a piece or two to enlighten the crowd at the Pelican and after I tire with that I will go out and start the David Klose Professional Drum BBQ to make the most tasty ribs one could ever want to eat. After dinner one usually sits down with a nice Partagas Black Label and a snifter of Remy XO or a nice McCallan 18 yo for a gander at the FAUX, perhaps a nice old movie on the TMC or a program on PBS,and am sure not to miss the latest interview from Charlie. After which I usually will shoot off an interesting missive to him, which he is sure to read. After that my day is pretty much done and I head off to bed to read for awhile, which currently is Volume 1 of Lee Lieutenants by Freeman. Then it is usually a, "good night Zoey U were a good dog today" and off to slumberland it is for me.

What a miserable existence... mother must be very disappointed that after all her hard work you have become nothing more that a lazy hedonist... I'm sure she had much higher hopes for you...

tabs has something like a '69 911 S that has not run since he used it to pull his house trailer to the mobile home park. I think it's under a pile of rugs and other sch!t in the garage in Altadena.

I'm sure the seats are covered with Kilim's.

Tabs has a rustbucket 911S with a broken motor. It's now serving as a chicken coop on a ranch outside of Stockton...

I may look and sound stupid but when it comes to Porsches I know enough to stay away from RUST. I made dam sure that body was straight and had NO RUST. I can fix a worn out motor but RUST is another matter. SO NO RUST ON MY 911S..

Well if you are a man of wealth and taste then why don't you go get a tastefully used shed to put next to your trailer house where you can store your rugs and rebuild your S motor at the same time?

Tabs, I think you have good taste, but I suspect that you are overweight. You don't detail anwhere your daily exercise. You shouldn't exercise ever.

Don't ever buy ASICS running shoes. You definitely don't want to run- no good conservative is less than 300 pounds. Your coffee machine choice is GREAT! I personally have a Krupps Il Kaffe Duomo.

"Ribs" are very fattening and have amazing amounts of cholesterol; as a vehement conservative I recommend you eat them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even a midnight snack. Make sure you add some bacon at while you're at it. You know, there's nothing wrong with snacking on raw lard.....

Partagas Black Label? Come on, who are you?

-REAL conservatives ONLY take REAL COMMUNIST CUBAN COHIBAS! Not the silly knock-offs from the Dominican Republic that you buy in the airports in Mexico and Canada and the Bahamas- REAL CUBAN CIGARS. You need to go to Europe or Asia to get these, or know an airline pilot who flies international on a regular basis.

BAD taste in films! Come on- how old are you anyway?

pffftt!

N!

Oh the haters on this thread. Tab's has detailed his victory in the weight battle, including his ingenious buffet-only diet, at great length here on the board. . I am proud to have played a small part in Tabs' victory. Thanks MRM Today Herr Tabdullah is as svelt as a man of wealth and taste should be - no more and no less. Being surrounded by fine art, furnishings and food requires a man of wealth and taste to partake only to the extent of having a slight paunch to signify his prosperity.

It is rare to have a prophet and soothsayer amungst our midsts, and rarer still when one deigns to share his insight with us. It takes a certain amount of appreciation for the finer things to understand Tabs. We are lucky to have him.

Say Tabs, you don't still have that little McLeish or something similar collecting dust in closet, somewhere, do you?
