iPhone junk mail filter?

Is there a junk mail filter for the iPhone? My Mac Mail does a decent job of it but all the crap comes to my iPhone.

I'd like to know too.

No, I tried to find something but nothing. You can make another folder than spam it when you get home. best I found yet.

Add me to the want list. My bellsouth/outlook on my laptop catches 99% of the spam, but it's passed right onto the iPhone.

Get a gmail account

Set it up to fetch from all your other accounts

Use that as your iPhone mailbox

Gmail spam filter is the best I've seen

How does that work? If you auto-forward everything to gmail wouldn't the gmail server simply view all your forwarded e-mail as being from your other account (say yahoo or hotmail or whatever) rather than from the original sender?

There used to be a software program called Mr. Postman that I used several years ago that allowed you to fetch from a whole bunch of different clients but I've not used it in quite a while.

Has anyone checked the app store? I'm guessing someone out there has to make a good filtering program that works at the device level.

.

Nope, you can even send from the account the original mail was from.
I'm doing this for a while now, works like a charm!

Huge +1

You can even send email through Gmail, but you can make it look like it is sent from the other email addresses

What service provider has your other accounts? Mail filtering at the server level should be taking care of a lot of your spam...

Earthlink. It gets the Viagra junk but lots of other stuff slips through.
