I love voting

just got back from voting, never fails to feel special, like a mini version of when the F15s fly over the Charles on Independence Day. just love this country.

If you love voting, try voting multiple times. IT rocks.

I love the day after election day 'cause I don't have to listen to those stupid phone messages anymore!

I'm with you. I love voting. The poll workers know me by name because I am there every time. Some people vote on American Idol, I vote in elections. Now, next week, I will be in withdraws because the ads and speculations will be gone.

I went to vote, ran into an old friend (now Principal) and got to look into my 1st grade classroom. Nice to see the old place being run very well. I remember the Nixon/McGovern '72 campaign while I was still in that school.

I hate all three of the old farts that volunteer to man the polling stations who find it necessary to simultaneously give directions to the guy who is in the wrong place while ignoring the 10 of us waiting in line while all the booths are empty.

Otherwise yeah, it's pretty cool.

Had an intereting voting experience this morning.

Work far away and the poll center is right down the street from my house. I severely brought down the age of people casting a vote at 7 am on a chilly/wet Tuesday morning. I think the next youngest person was late forties atleast!

They all looked at me funny!?!

slodave 11-02-2010 08:08 PM

That's because they were wondering why an unshaven youngster was up at that hour.

My voting district consists of the plantation in which I live and nothing else. I'm almost positive that I'm the youngest registered voter in my district.
