in my never ending quest for the "art of the deal" or "deal of the century", today in my work meanderings i had to wait for some people to get back from lunch. since i didnt want to hang out on their doorstep and waste time, and i could smell a spoon store in the near vicinity..........................
i mo-syed on over to a certain spoon store. this spoon store rents anything ya want. name it. since i have finally made my decision after speaking with various gurus /guides/real live alaskan hunters/bullet mfgs. etc re: my personal dee-fense anti bear spoon..........i have decided to buy another smith and wesson 629 4" barrel spoon. i already have a performance center/nelson ford 6" 629 stainless. no earth shattering news there. butt since i know the salesman from prior purchases i asked him about rentals for sale as i didnt want to spring top peso for a new 629. and guess what he had????????????? A 4" SMITH UND VESSON PERFORMANCE CENTER V-COMP/ COMPENSATED(removeable) 629! unfluted cylinder model. go to s&w.com performance center for a pic. and the KILLER TO THIS SINCE ITS A SLIGHTLY USED RENTAL is its gonna cost me btwn $400-$500 bucks out da door! MSRP is $1700 bucks. and the smith und vesson lifetime warranty still APPLIES! the bad part is i have to freeking WAIT TIL XMAS when smith sends them their new rental guns. my name is on it, my phone number is on it. and the very damn second i get that pup im a gonna go blast 20 rds, take it home, clean it up real purdy, and SLAP IT IN A BOX FED EX and SHIP IT BACK TO SMITH FOR A TOTAL TEARDOWN UNDER WARRANTY!
