Normy, if the second hand truly does sweep, that's a pretty good indicator it's fake. There are only a handful of authentic Rolexs that sweep, just like there are only a handful where the second hand only makes one BPS. Most modern Rolexs tick 8BPS, not at all sweeping if you watch the second hand for several seconds.

I have a faux Rolex that someone gave to me, never have worn it. It is the gold and stainless sub. My real Rolex is the stainless Sea Dweller which I've had for many years and I wear daily. I bought the watch for no one other than myself and really don't have a need to impress people. Most people don't appreciate the technology and quality in the watch. As others have said before, it's like owning a Porsche, most just don't appreciate the qualities of the "real deal".

Real, fake...who give s a toss....if it looks good and you like, wear it. To me it's like putting non-genuine Fuchs on your 911, look almost identical at half the price, and no one really cares anyway. They still look good.

Most of us have no issue with the fact that Normy likes to sleep with boys. His lying about it for many years here on this forum does not help but that happens.

Normy flies jets for a living, and anyone who is flying something that goes over my house, or the houses of the rest of us on this thread want to know that the pilots are doing this in a professional and safe manner.

Look at this thread and most of the other threads coming from this persons keyboard and it sure appears that something other than "safe and professional" resides there. This one is fairly sane, but other threads are well "off the wall."

I've lost count of the bent Fuches offered for sale locally that are advertised as like new or mint. (I check them on a small "Lazy Susan")

And there are surgeons who like to be tied up and beaten and have stuff shoved up their back orifice to....so what, does'nt mean they aren't any good at their job.

It's a matter of art. The genuine item is desired because of the perceived artistry instilled in it.
I once sat in front of a Monet at the Getty and at first was less than impressed. It was dark and muddy and yet it drew me in.
As the sun moved across the skylight that supplied the lighting for this piece, it literally came to life. Obviously the artist painted the piece in natural light and his vision was reveled as the lighting evolved. Can you buy a copy of a Monet that depicts the landscape? of course but the copy will never express the artists vision.
The same thing is true of any work of art.
Buy a fake if the artists vision is inconsequential to your needs.
I am personally unimpressed by the artistry of a Rolex but that just my taste. I own a Breitling that I believe is more artful than any Rolex I can afford. It's not a matter of cost but a matter of aesthetics and how it feels on my wrist.

What I see is a guy who came out on the attack, got slapped, and suddenly wants to resort to reason as a last resort. I have nothing against Joe, but I do object to some of his posts. When are you going to stop going in circles? First you say that I never made it to the majors then you say I am a check airman with Eastern, which was very much a major. I am not the focus of this but since you ask I do still have a scan of my American Airlines flight crew ID, along with the one from McDonnell Douglas, Boeing and lastly Bombardier, all working as flight crew. You see Normy, these are the factory flight departments that make the airplanes, not some silly airline.

I doubt that you were at American- the "sky nazis". For what it is worth anus, I was a check airman at American Eagle for a year, and actually worked in the school house. That was when I lived at the infamous apartment buildings just west of the complex.

What I find odd is that you like to throw names around, yet you are so stupid I cannot even believe it. Please reference my earlier post where I point out that it isn't illegal at all to OWN a fake product. If you've had any international airline experience at all, you would have known that.

You seem to be back in your daze again. I am not the one who is suspect here and have nothing to prove. Your attempt to turn this around simply is not going to work.

I could give a chit what color the building was because it was 15 years ago that I was at DFW with AA. This is not a Bourne spy situation where you have to know the color of the boathouse at the SAS facility or you are going to be killed.

I hope that you can get to a doctor who will adjust your medications as I have not focused on if its illegal or not to own a fake Rolex, its just in your warped mind that you take others posts and try to attach them to your situation.

Dewolf, you are reading so much into what is on the page it is funny. He was really quite specific that the stuff you are giving so much weight were insignificant. For you to say he is implying pedophilia by saying Norm sleeps with boys is pretty ridiculous. Certainly there is an element of derision in Joe's post, but you are really reaching.

If you have read much of the content Norm! has contributed, you might appreciate that much of it is indicative of the possibility he is a few cans short of a six pack, so to speak. This is concern for any individual piloting any conveyance, particularly a multi-engine plane. He did imply that Norm! is mentally unstable, which IMHO is not much of a stretch and there is evidence of it in this very thread.

Mr Dudley I did not interpret what Joe posted as any of the things you did. Perhaps one day, with perseverance and good fortune, I will eventually be as insightful as you believe yourself to be.
