How to report spam?

How do I report spam in the forums? Someone has added several posts
about Ugg boots lately:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-914-used-parts-sale-wanted/573825-ugg-boots-uk-where-we-design-showcasing-your-des.html

I was surprised not to see a "report this post" or "report spam" link in the forums. (Maybe I just missed it?)

See the little triangle to the right of the date/time stamp? Click on it and report away!

Excellent, thanks...

Don't respond to it or it makes it more difficult to delete entirely.

Not for the mod to delete. ...it's easy; just a check-box, like so (yellow hi-lited)

Or, if it's one post w/in a (good) thread, it too can be removed easily.

Altho, come to think of it, that is just a soft delete. I believe Wayne goes thru later to get rid of it permanently.

All posts and threads started by that spammer are now gone.

If you post in a spammer's thread, you won't be the 'baby thrown out with the bathwater." since most of us moderators will just delete the complete thread and ban the originator of the thread.

Why don't people read FAQ's before posting?

DanielDudley 11-07-2010 04:26 PM

What's a FAQ ?

Are you referring to why I asked here about how to eliminate the spam? I did check the FAQ. I didn't see any mention of spam.
