Looking for good guitar setup person in Los Angeles area.
Over the years I have collected a dozen or so guitars... some of them need minor repairs... some sound great but play horribly and need to be set up.
I used to have a friend of a friend that would do all my guitar work but he no longer does that type of work. I also found a great guy right here in San Pedro however they tore down the building he was in and I have not been able to find him (Blue Mule Studio) Anyone in So Cal have a good guitar guy they can recommend?

McCabe's is great but they get W-A-A-Y backed up on repairs. I use a guy in Toluca Lake who also does a lot of violins, cellos and other instruments. He's really good, a great guy who used to have a shop down on Sunset Blvd.

This guy used to work with Don Grosh when Don was in Santa Clarita. Does some of the best fret work in the country:

some of my friends have used Sammy Sanchez...he works on Santana's guitars among others...they were very happy with the work and prices....google him for contact info
