I don't have a garage, but since my place and others is above where we park, I'd say it's when a sewer line backs up and leaks from the access holes.

Engine degreaser is pretty long lasting as is the smell created by using an abrasive metal cutting chop saw. Neither of these smells is putrid per se, but they impermeate ones clothes and last for days.

When I was in a service truck I used this stuff called "Rust Buster".
I have no Idea what was in that little bottle, but it would give you a nasty headache from the smell.
If I needed it I would buy it and leave it on site so it didn't have to be in my truck!

My Meth lab.

gear oil. I don't think any automotive smell is worse. (assuming nothing is on fire)

Yep, Sweepco transmission oil. It seems to soak into your skin and last for a while.

Old nasty gas is the worst, kroil is the best :)

Purple Power degreaser mixed with some combination of carb cleaner, brake cleaner and/or Simple Green. Whatever it was, it really stunk.

The smell of failure used to bother me, but I'm used to it now.

I use that at work. Smells great! Similar to Seafoam Deep Creep

Tobra 11-09-2010 09:20 AM

Someone already did Sid.

Worst is this fire ant poison I have from when I lived in Texas, no fire ants here, so far.

cashflyer 11-09-2010 09:31 AM

Old, used 7808. Smells like sewage.
