IT Pros - AHBL vs GoDaddy?

My company's website and email are hosted by ADPHosting (GoDaddy).

Now it turns out that a lot of our emails are being bounced back since AHBL (abussive hosts blocking list) has listed ALL GoDaddy hosted sites as spam.

It appears to be a personal issue between the owner of AHBL and a GoDaddy client.

Any solutions?

I'm looking to moving the hosting to another provider but its unacceptable to be held a pawn whilst these 2 entities have a pissing contest.

The dispute between AHBL and the Free Speech Store (go daddy hosted client) have been going on for a long time. However, I was surprised to hear that AHBL now lists all go daddy hosted sites. That sucks for you since AHBL is aggressive in blacklisting sites and not removing the sites without jumping through some difficult hoops.

Sorry, I don't have a hosting suggestion for you. I am sure someone will chime in.

GoDaddy has stated to us that they will not act on abuse or harassment by their customers, even when provided mountains of evidence and complaints. Please do not contact us about removal, as we are unable to speak with anyone besides GoDaddy's abuse department about this issue.

Contrary to their assertions otherwise, GoDaddy has not made any attempts to contact us or come to a resolution on any issues.

The concern is that just moving the service to another host does not guarantee that AHBL will target them also.

Having said that, that is exactly what we plan to do and will repeat as required.

You may want to look into setting up SPF records for your domain.

For business e-mail, I am using Google Apps. Very happy. Not so sure it would scale well, but its worth a look.
