Very cool. Steve McQueen is one of my favorites. He was a Marine, and a Porsche enthusiast.

hated it when he died, he seemed like a cool guy and I enjoyed his movies

At one time I was looking for a life-size cardboard stand-up of him. I've seen them sold in music stores for other actors but never McQueen. Has anyone ever seen one for sale?

Even though this is mildly disturbing as it is, at least you didn't ask for a Steve McQueen blowup doll to take on vacation . . . :D

Our PCA chapter has a Winterfest weekend event each year and I used to shoot each family with their car. I thought it would be fun to have Steve in the background...

Find the image of him you like. Photoshop out the background. Save the image to a disc. Take the disc to a commercial printer and have a 6' image made. Glue image to cardboard. Cut around Steve. Add a base. Photograph away.

What Bruce said, plenty of good photos out there, maybe the one with the two finger salute.

You can probably get the cardboard for free even if you buy a refrigerator or something.

Not a bad idea but I wanted one for people to stand next to so, I need a full length stand up. Let me know if you ever see one. There used to be a music store around here that sold life size standups for under $30. Usually movie stars...

I just found this in the back of the Dec issue of Octane magazine.

Thanks for the thought. Cool idea if money is no object but I don't think I want to spend almost $300 for a cartoon.
