New to me spoon pics.

A couple weeks back I posted regarding trying to acquire my Grandfather's .357 from a sibling. Turns out that my brother had it, and since he already has a .44 revolver in his collection(amongst many others), I was able to swap a .380 semi automatic for the .357

I am very happy, as is my brother. Smith & Wesson 6" barrel. Classic looks and a very fine shooter. Keeping this one in the family.

And with the .380 Sig which I kept.

vash--shoots just fine .357 or .38 Was used alot on the parents' farm for "varmint control"

tabs--I traded him a Daewoo DH380. NIB never fired. He wanted something that his wife could CC.

We both knew the S&W has a higher value, and I even offered him the Sig instead, however, he didn't need the .357 and being brothers, we made the deal and are both happy with the outcome.

I like them both, especially the Sig P230!

My father was a cop before I was born, quit right after I was born. He had a 6" S&W revolver, nickle finish that looked very similar. Unfortunately, it was stolen in the 80s when or house was robbed. I really wish we still had it. Congrats on the heirloom.

The K frame smith wasn't really robust enough for the 357 round. But being a family heirloom there is no substitute.
