lot of cool cars in that flick, too bad I don't get it here
quit raining anyway so I am out as soon as Trapeze is over, that Carol Reed made a lot of movies I think are great |

That was our first involvement with Hollywood. We were calling clients to pay them to bring their cars into the shop for a change :D
It was a Looong week of getting up early, then staying till the last people left each day. Fun and boring at the same time |

Compare the plot line of No Man's Land to the first Fast and the Furious movie.
The storyline similarities are ridiculous. |

This was one of the movies that inspired me to owning a 911. Another movie I love (as cheesy as it is) is King of the Mountain with Harry Hamlin. The slant nose turbo in No Man's Land is beautiful. I still laugh when Charlie Sheen says. " this baby handles" and they are only doing about 30 mph and going straight down a city street. Great 911 sounds in this movie.

A must see for any Porsche fan. Charlie Sheen looks like a baby...lols.

In the beginning, they show a door VIN plate on another part of the body. The scene shows a cutting torch cutting it out. A bit later they go back to that scene as it's almost cut out... As the metal falls, the supposedly riveted VIN separates from the cut metal.. Whoops!
Hmmm... Starting to separate. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1290318745.jpg :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1290318843.jpg BTW, Kevin, you have a soda blasting box? Say, one that can clean a 2.2 case? |

Two observations I just made are No Man's Land was set at this time of the year and Charlie Sheen & Randy Quaid who are both in this movie have been in the news lately about their crazy behavior.

I have had a VHS copy for years. I found it on DVD at wmart for $5. about 2 years ago. I wish I could find King of the Mountain on DVD. My VHS copy is getting worn out.
Kevinp73, something tells me you know something about the slant nose turbo. Do tell. I personally love to hear the behind the scenes stories about these movies if anyone has any info to share. |

I was able to catch it on local TV here. Finally caught the first 20 minutes of it, saw it for the first time last year (most of it). I've never been able to rent it.
The first 20 minutes is the best part. Actually the best part is white knit top of the sister - hello.:D |

Kevin... more info is in order on that license plate! Do you know what happened to it?
	 |

 Man...that's a 356A they're butchering in that VIN plate pic...guess those weren't worth that much in the 80s. :(
What does PVTDNCR stand for? Trying to figure it out... Yes, more "making of" stories please! |

The plate stayed on the car when I sold it to a plastic surgeon in Camarillo. His sister was a ballet dancer and he wanted the plates real bad. He offered me a $1,000.00 above the selling price of the car just to keep them. Front plates were not the law back then so I kept one and it's on my office wall to this day. The last known location was somewhere in the Bay area many years ago. |

Lara was a model and i think this was her first film.
There were to be semi nude scenes between her and Sweeney, but she was so self conscious and frozen, those ended up on the editing room floor |

I got the VHS in the late 80s an got the DVD a few years ago. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this picture???
