Saints won big!

Geaux Tigers! - beat Ole Miss (go to hell Ole Miss), but Masoli still had a good day

How many games has LSU won by more than 3 points this season against unranked teams?
How many game should they have lost if not for a fluke?

Stanford is so much better than they are.
LSU should not be ranked in the top 20 IMO but they're still better than the stripped down reader's digest version of USC this year.

Good game this week.....UN Reno versus Boise. Reno may or may not have a chance, will be extremely cold and chance of snow. Wonder if the Boise team can handle the conditions.....loud local crowd and the cannon that goes off after every score.

Yea it just sounds like Sammy is bitter about USC.

Tigers would dominate stanford if given the chance.

Oh well, fUSC.

LSU has only played five games against unranked teams this year. The combined scoring record is LSU 169 Others 63

LSU has, however, played six teams that were ranked at the time or are ranked now. The combined score ... LSU 153 Others 119.

Although I profess not to have followed Stanford this year, a quick review of their schedule makes it appear they have played only three teams to have a ranking during the season. Oregon, Arizona, and USC (not ranked now). The combined scoring record.... Stanford 110 Others 104.

Next week LSU plays Arkansas currently ranked 12th. Stanford? Oregon State which might be in the top 50. I'll take the Tigers for the win. Thank You.

I personally think Stanford has a quality team this year and would like to see them play a Big Team or SEC opponent in a bowl game. It would be an interesting match up.

Hope I didn't ruin your fantasy with too many facts.

Hmm since you are from Oregon I am wondering which way your "..." is biased. Please elaborate.

Oregon should be favored on Friday night, but it will be the toughest team they've played all year. Stoops is a smart coach and will be in his office looking at films late into the night. Arizona has a good QB and some talent. It will be an interesting game.

I'd still put my $$ on the Ducks if I were a betting man, though.

The Wolf Pack has Collin Capernic(sp) an outstanding QB. If they upset the Broncos or play a close game the Pack and Collin C. will gain much notoriety.

It might not be a huge home field advantage if the Boise fans buy up all the tickets and take over the stadium.

UNR has never beaten Boise.....the locals bought out the stadium at the beginning of the season. Boise is a 15 favorite.

Home field advantage is never to be underestmated. Hawaii beat them in the islands....Fresno almost did as well......

Should be a good game. Televised on ESPN2, Friday nite. UNR has a goofy but inovative offense, when it works it's awesome...but it requires a versatile QB that can run, pass and quickly read defensive reactions.
