The kid is no different then a lot of mop headed teenagers - many look like that which is why my Son now has his hair 1/4th of an inch from his scalp!

He did come from humble beginnings and was most likely exploited. Not everyone can do what he has done - face it, there are tons of kids out there trying to be the next big thing. He got it. He is making serious chink. Who knows for how long. Good for him. Case closed.

As for his look? Perfect androgynous look for tweener girls. Tweener girls love pretty looking boys. Is he gay? Although my Son says yes I do not think he is into boys anymore than Shaun Cassidy was.
