Too bad you can't see the vid, Paul. It's in High Def and it's excellent. VaSteve, was that you in the well set up black 944? ;)

It was me. I could run with the 911s for a little while. :)

Probably why my old 'puter couldn't keep up. I'm needing an upgrade, I think. I also like watching live streams of pool tournaments, but that didn't work last time...image would get choppy, then freeze, and I'd get notices of "100% CPU use", whatever that means.

FWIW, I had no problem with the youtube video starting this thread...

Yea, High Definition videos require a fast processor and a good video card to view properly. It really was an excellent video, Paul. Very entertaining. One of the cars the video car was following was set up a bit soft but had good tires and was being driven hard - that car was up on three wheels frequently and sometimes almost two.

Damn...sorry I missed it. After christmas bills, the plan is to talk to our 'puter Ghuru, see if he can build one to do everything I now want...

I really enjoy watching track footage on youtube...but it's the pool tournament streaming I really want to upgrade for.

do you have any good footage of 944s on the track?

why can you only run for a little while with 911s?

We get a lot of threw wheeling action... It's fun to see. :)

Mostly the 944 video I have is of me driving...we have only a few in my run group. I probably have that session on tape myself, but it was fun to watch from outside the car.

The 911 filming that I think has a 3.4 or 3.6 in an SC body (must have been coasting). The one that was 3 wheeling is driven by a balls out maniac and it's completely gutted so very light, the black 911 with the "02" on the door is a 77 chassis with a 3.2, I think = light. My car although with a track suspension and tires is a 3.0L with a full interior. Most of the cars in the video were trailered to the event...I drove and towed my tire trailer. Those guys also have a lot of year's experience on me. I'm working on it. :)

It's one of the best videos I've ever seen, Steve. I really enjoyed it. I felt like I was diving the car, actually. :-)
