You sound like a whiner to me. But that's just me. Have you even read and tried to understand the regs dealing with your situation and your contract? Did you fully engage the professionals in your unit to try to resolve this before engaging the IG? You should have the answers before you asked the questions. That's what smart NCO's do. Too late now i'm afraid. Do as you are told Sergeant and take and pass the test. I think at that point you should then find a unit that "you" can accept. Good luck with that.

LOL. I assure you in the 9 years I have served this is the first time I have actually "whinned" about anything. Theres no way to earn 20 ribbons (some with devices) and 2 warfare pins whinning about everything....LOL.... Thats what I'm trying to find out are the regs governing giving the PT test. The only ones I have found out are the procedures to give the APFT to a company with everyone taking it, not just one person. Nowhere in my contract has it stated I must pass a PT test to recieve my bonus, only that I must remain in good standing. I passed the last 5 given after the 1 I failed in 2008, other than that I haven't recieved so much as a negative counselling statement. I believe I'm in good standing. Talked to 4 E-7's, an E-8, E-9, and an 0-2. Then I called the IG, nothing was getting done and I was not getting answers. 2 years is ample time to sort things out in my opinion. I will do as I am told, as long as its a LAWFUL order. If its just because somebody has a stick up their rear then its not right. I tried to call the CSM today to set up a date to take the PT test, but he didnt answer. I do plan to take the APFT, but afterwards I would like to ask the CSM " doesnt Reg (blah blah blah) state that the APFT test I passed back in Sept suffice for the Army because it was given to standard. Just to let him know I did some research. LOL.
