Online shop: website states one price, bill states another? WTF
 
So, I just ordered some parts from a small online vendor for my car. The price listed on the website says one thing and when I check my account the price is X+50.00. I called the guy and he said " Oh, my website is way out of date blah, blah".

What would you do?

This is not a commonplace item but still....

I would return it unless it is worth to you what you paid for it or you cannot get it cheaper somewhere else.

I would certainly stop doing business with that company since it appears they did not offer to make it right for you.

Report to your CC.

If a merchant gets too many complaints they get their merchant account yanked.

What's the URL.

You can also file a complaint with their gateway and ISP.

Has the website now been fixed?

If it has then the guy was probably telling you the truth.

No, it's still showing the lower price. The thing is I had to call in the order too and I specifically mentioned that I found the part on the website etc.
